Product description

Jeger Renovation Paint for floors, patios and decks is characterized by high abrasion resistance. It is designed for renovation and decoration of floors, flooring, stairs, terraces, garages and basements. The product formula is based on a modern epoxy resin. The coating has very good strength and mechanical properties. The paint is designed for indoor and outdoor use.

Substrate preparation

The substrate should be dry, clean, dust-free and durable. Remove damaged (e.g. peeling and cracked) coating of previous paints and roughen the surface, for example, with fine sandpaper. Fill in surface defects and sand down. Clean the surfaces of impurities that limit paint adhesion (e.g. dust, greasy stains). Raw cement or concrete substrate can be painted after a minimum of 8 weeks after pouring. Cement/gypsum slurry should be removed. Wash the surface thoroughly, let it dry for 24-48 hours. Before painting, degrease the substrate with, for example, acetone. Perform a painting/adhesion test on a small area.

Product application

Mix the paint thoroughly before use. Do not dilute with water. Do not mix with other paints. Apply with a roller at +8°C to +25°C, at a relative humidity of max 82%, avoid drafts. Apply the next coat after about 2 hours. When using packages from different production batches, mix them in a larger package to prevent differences in color shade. Use the surfaces carefully for the first 7 days after the application is completed. Full strength properties of the coating are obtained after 14 days from the completion of painting work performed according to the manufacturer's instructions. After finishing painting, wash the painting tools with water.
