Product description

Jeger Oil for Decks and Garden Furniture is a decorative and protective wood treatment with a matte finish. It penetrates deep into the wood, protecting its structure and preventing graying. It creates a coating with high water resistance. It effectively protects against the harmful effects of weather conditions. It protects the surface against fungi, mold, and prevents algae and moss growth.

Surface preparation

The substrate should be dry, clean, and stable. Remove any damaged (e.g., flaking and cracked) coatings of previous paints and varnishes. Fill any surface defects, level the surface, sand it, and remove dust. If necessary, wash and dry the wood. Lightly sand new wooden surfaces and remove dust.

Product application

Mix the product thoroughly before use. Do not dilute with water. Do not mix with other products. Apply at least two coats with a brush or roller. Apply at a temperature between +8°C and +25°C, with a relative humidity of max. 82%. Apply the next coat after at least 2 hours. If using containers from different production batches, mix them in a larger container to prevent color differences. After finishing painting, wash the painting tools with warm water.
