Product description

Jeger Wood Impregnant Primer is a protective wood treatment with a matte finish. It penetrates deep into the wood structure and prevents damage. It stabilizes the wood structure, preventing degradation. It protects the surface against fungi, mold, and prevents algae and moss growth. The impregnating agent is intended for outdoor use.

Surface preparation

The substrate should be dry, clean, and stable. Remove any damaged (e.g., flaking and cracked) coatings of previous paints and varnishes. Fill any surface defects, level the surface, sand it, remove dust, and degrease it. Lightly sand new wooden surfaces and remove dust.

Product application

Mix the product thoroughly before use. Do not dilute with water. Do not mix with other products. Apply with a brush or roller. Spray application is possible (if necessary, the impregnating agent can be diluted by adding max. 2% water). Apply at a temperature of +8°C to +25°C, with a relative humidity of max. 82%. Apply the next coat after a minimum of 2 hours. After finishing painting, wash the painting tools with warm water.
