Jeger Spray-on Varnish for Chalk Paint Matt is great for varnishing furniture and decorative objects indoors. Recommended for DIY enthusiasts, it works well for all kinds of furniture decoration. In addition, it has a protective function: it protects and waterproofs. It retains its original, neutral color – it does not yellow nor fade. Recommended to protect Jeger Chalk Paint.
Application: before painting, the surfaces to be decorated must be vacuumed, degreased, de-rusted and dried. Then protect the parts and surfaces that you do not want to paint. Before using the spray for the first time, remove the nozzle, remove the red retaining ring and put the nozzle back on. Test for correct spraying. Apply in thin layers at 2-minute intervals. The distance between the can head and the painted surface should be approximately 25 cm. Dust-drying, or the first stage of varnish curing, will occur after 10 minutes and complete curing of the surface after approximately 24 hours.
Important: the product should not be applied on surfaces coated with synthetic resin varnishes. After painting, to clean the nozzle, turn the can „upside down” and press the nozzle, removing the paint residue in the valve.
