Product description

Jeger Millennium Gel Primer matte, deeply penetrating gel primer. The innovative formula is based on a microparticle acrylic dispersion, which ensures very good adhesion to the substrate. The rheology of the primer prevents the product from dripping off the roller, reducing material loss during application. It reduces the absorbency of the substrate, increasing the coverage of the paint. It is designed for priming walls and ceilings.

Surface preparation

The substrate should be dry, clean, and durable. Remove damaged (e.g., flaking and cracked) coatings of previous paints, adhesive paints, and lime paints. Fill any surface defects with a suitable filler and sand them down. Clean previously painted surfaces of any contaminants that may reduce paint adhesion, e.g., dust, grease stains, rust, fungi, and mold. Paint fresh plaster after it has seasoned (3-4 weeks after application), after sanding and dusting.

Product application

Stir the primer thoroughly before use. Do not dilute with water. Apply with a brush or roller. Apply at a temperature between +8°C and +25°C, with a relative humidity of max. 82%, avoid drafts. For highly absorbent substrates, apply a second coat of primer. Apply the top coat no earlier than 2 hours after priming. After finishing painting, wash the painting tools with warm water.
