Jeger HydroBeton is a decorative coating inspired by the modern, raw and minimalist look of concrete. Thanks to its water-repellent properties, it effectively protects against moisture, eliminating the need for additional protective varnish. It is ideal for kitchens, bathrooms and other rooms with high humidity. The product is suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
How to do that? It's just 2 steps
You only need two tools.
Paint roller
Trowel
Spread primer
Apply to a clean, dry, dust-free, and degreased surface using a microfiber roller. Jeger Primer HydroBeton - leave to dry (according to the instructions on the packaging).
Apply decorative effect
Jeger HydroBeton mix thoroughly. If you need to use more than one package of the product, mix the contents of all packages together before application. Do not dilute with water. Apply a thin layer with a trowel to the thickness of the grain. Spread the effect in all directions, irregularly. When the material begins to dry, start smoothing gently - so that no burn marks appear that change the color. Leave to dry for 4 hours. For application on tiles or non-absorbent substrates, extend the drying time to 24 hours. Apply the second coat in the same way. If you want to create pitting, press the trowel into the freshly applied compound and then lift it off. During the initial drying stage, gently smooth the entire surface. Leave to dry for approx. 24 hours. Apply at a temperature between +8°C and +25°C, with a maximum relative humidity of 82%, avoiding drafts. After finishing work, wash the tools with warm water.
Tips
In rooms exposed to constant contact with water, such as showers, waterproofing should be applied before applying the effect.
When applying to ceramic tiles, check the load-bearing capacity of the tiles by tapping them. A dull sound means that the tile must be re-glued.
Note: The product becomes completely moisture resistant after 7 days. Use a sponge and water with a small amount of detergent to clean the surface. Do not use aggressive chemicals, products containing chlorine, or objects that may cause mechanical damage.
