Product description
Jeger Paint for stains and water stains it is a matte, water-soluble paint designed for covering and isolating stubborn stains, such as soot, grease, nicotine, and water stains, which tend to reappear on the surface of topcoats. It strengthens and evens out the absorbency of the substrate. It protects against the growth of fungi and mold, and is ideal for rooms exposed to moisture.
Substrate preparation
The substrate should be dry, clean, and stable. Remove any damaged (e.g., flaking or cracked) coatings, adhesive paints, and lime. Fill any surface defects with a suitable filler and sand down. Clean previously painted surfaces of any contaminants that may reduce paint adhesion, such as dust, grease stains, rust, fungi, and mold. Water stains should be thoroughly dried. Grease stains and food stains should be washed off using appropriate cleaning agents. Coatings with fungus and/or mold should be removed with a putty knife and then washed with a suitable fungicide. The substrate must be completely dry.
Product application
Mix the product thoroughly. Do not dilute with water. Do not mix with other products. Apply the first coat with a roller or brush. Spread the product thoroughly and evenly so that no visible lumps remain on the edges of the painted area. If necessary, apply a second coat after 4 hours, until the stains are completely covered. Apply at a temperature between +8°C and +25°C, with a relative humidity of max. 82%, avoid drafts. Leave to dry completely. Apply the top coat no earlier than after 6 hours. After finishing work, wash the tools with warm water.
