Jeger Primer HydroBeton This is a primer for interior walls, also suitable for difficult surfaces such as ceramic tiles, concrete, OSB boards, and terrazzo. It evens out the absorbency of the substrate, strengthens and increases adhesion, and enables proper application of the product to achieve the desired effect.

Surface preparation

The substrate should be dry, clean, and durable. Remove any damaged (e.g., flaking and cracked) coatings of previous paints, adhesive paints, and lime paints. Fill any surface defects with a suitable filler and sand them down. Clean previously painted surfaces of any contaminants that may reduce paint adhesion, e.g., dust, grease stains, rust, fungi, and mold. Ceramic tiles should be degreased with a suitable agent, e.g., acetone.

In rooms exposed to constant contact with water, e.g., showers, before application Jeger Primer HydroBeton waterproofing must be applied. When applying to existing ceramic tiles, check the load-bearing capacity of the tiles by tapping them. A dull sound means that the tiles need to be re-glued.

Product application

Mix the product thoroughly before use. Do not dilute with water. Do not mix with other paints. Apply with a brush or roller. Apply at a temperature between +8°C and +25°C, with a relative humidity of max. 82%. Leave to dry for 4 hours; when applying to tiles or non-absorbent surfaces, extend the drying time to 24 hours. After finishing painting, wash the painting tools with warm water.
