Jeger Primer LimeWash is a primer for the Jeger LimeWash decorative effect. It evens out the absorbency of the substrate, strengthens and increases the adhesion of the decorative effect, and allows for proper application to achieve the desired result.

Surface preparation

The substrate should be dry, clean, and durable. Remove damaged (e.g., peeling and cracked) coatings of previous paints, glue paints, and lime wash. Fill surface defects with a suitable putty and sand down. Clean previously painted surfaces from contaminants that limit paint adhesion, such as dust, greasy stains, rust, fungi, and mold.

Product application

Mix Jeger Primer LimeWash thoroughly. Do not dilute with water. Do not mix with other products. Apply the first coat using a microfiber roller, spreading it with irregular, cross-hatch movements in all directions. Allow to dry for 2 hours. After this time, the surface can be covered with the decorative effect. If necessary, and if the substrate color shows through clearly, apply a second coat of Jeger Primer LimeWash. Apply at a temperature from +8°C to +25°C, with relative humidity max. 82%; avoid drafts. After finishing the work, wash the tools with warm water.
