Jeger Primer Loft Beton for bathrooms, floors, ceramic tiles, and countertops a primer that increases the adhesion of the decorative effect Jeger Loft Beton for difficult and smooth surfaces such as countertops, ceramic tiles, or concrete substrates. It evens out the absorbency of the substrate, strengthens and increases the adhesion of the decorative effect, and allows for proper application to achieve the desired effect.
Surface preparation
The substrate should be dry, clean, and durable. Remove any damaged (e.g., flaking and cracked) previous paint coatings. Fill any surface defects. Clean previously painted surfaces of any contaminants that may reduce the adhesion of the product, e.g., grease stains and rust. If mold or mildew is present, remove it using a suitable preparation. Degrease the surface with a suitable agent, e.g., acetone. Wash smooth concrete and rinse thoroughly with water, then leave to dry. Remove roughness from raw concrete or tiles, wash thoroughly, rinse with water, and leave to dry. On wall tiles, it is recommended to cover the joints with Jeger Leveling Primer in accordance with the instructions on the packaging after applying Primer Loft Beton and before applying the Loft Beton effect.
Product application
Mix the product thoroughly before use. Do not dilute with water. Do not mix with other paints. Apply with a roller. Apply at a temperature between +8°C and +25°C, with a relative humidity of max. 82%. Apply the second coat after approx. 4 hours. Leave to dry for 4 hours; when applying to tiles or non-absorbent surfaces, extend the drying time to 24 hours. After finishing painting, wash the painting tools with warm water.
Note: Do not use on floors for industrial use or heavy-duty use.
